Prefabricated waterproofing membrane with specific function as total barrier to vapour. The waterproofing material is composed of distilled bitumen and elastomeric polymers (type SBS), reinforced with rot-proof fibreglass mesh and aluminium foil, which allows to obtain a barrier against the passage of vapour. Owing to their characteristics, membranes of the POLIGUAINA AL FLEX series can be used successfully for waterproofing all kinds of civil and industrial works which require an absolute barrier to the passage of water vapour when thermal insulation is being provided. In the coverage layers, POLIGUAINA AL FLEX must be inserted under the insulating panel in order to preserve the latter from phenomena of water vapour condensation, which certainly occurs when the thermal operating conditions of the cover change.
